"An Evening With The Playwrights" Featuring Tony Award Winning Broadway Playwrights Mario Fratti and Rupert Holmes

Webb recently hosted a very unique "Evening With The Playwrights." The New York city landmark theater district restaurant Trattoria Dopo Teatro was the scene of this delightful and entertaining night on October 20th. Broadway playwrights Mario Fratti and Rupert Holmes took the stage, charming an audience of 100+ actors, writers, business executives, and fans. The two veteran playwrights shared anecdotes about their diverse careers on Broadway and beyond. Webb organized the evening in cooperation with Trattoria Dopo Teatro. Webb's client, Rupert Holmes, and our gracious friend, Mario Fratti, were kind enough to take a break from their busy schedules to participate.

Mr. Fratti is the co-creator of the musical Nine--winner of two Tony awards this year (Best Musical Revival, and Jane Krakowski for Best Featured Actress in a Musical), and five Tony Awards in its original production in 1982.

Mr. Holmes is the creator of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, for which he received three Tony awards for Best Book, Best Music, and Best Lyrics--while Drood itself won for Best Musical. This past season, his show Say Goodnight Gracie received a Tony nomination for Best Play, while Frank Gorshin won the Outer Critics Circle Award for his portrayal of George Burns in the play. www.SayGoodnightGracie.net.


Webb Builds U.S. Sales Incentive Website
for Italy's #1 Beer, Birra Peroni

Webb worked with Birra Peroni USA, Barton Beers, Ltd. and Alessi USA to design and develop a national sales incentive website that reinforces the Peroni USA brand image, provides incentives for distributors and motivates the U.S. sales force. The site features a custom e-commerce component where Peroni Dollars can be used for incentive gift purchases on-line. Distributors and sales managers can register and login to a secure on-line catalog of gift products and redeem Peroni Dollars for incentive gifts. An administration system allows management to track all order activities by region, company and individual user.

Secure, online credit card processing allows users to add value and purchase additional Alessi products. A print design component included designing and custom-printing Peroni Dollar gift certificates with secure passwords and company names, which were distributed to leading sales people and distributors nationally.

Birra Peroni is Italy's Number 1 beer and the also the Number 1 Italian beer in terms of U.S. sales. The 157-year-old Italian firm was founded in 1846. Barton Beers is the largest independent (non-brewery owned) beer marketer in the U.S. They represent six of the top 25 imported beer brands. Barton has continuously outpaced industry growth, selling some 50 million cases nationally.
